I'm an elf, too. We elves find the cobbler's work very interesting. He comes up with ideas no one else has ever thought of. The shoes he makes are nice looking. We only wish he could sew better.

I am the cobbler's wife. I am so proud of my husband's talent. Very few people know what goes into designing and making a pair of shoes. It's hard work and takes a special artist's eye. I help him see the practical side of life and encourage him to balance art and wisdom. I work hard, too. We complement one another and make a good team.

I'm an elf. We elves work with our hands. There are some people who would say we use magic, but really, we're just good at what we do. We're very careful not to let people see us. It's sort of an elf rule. I've heard that most people think we're just pretend creatures.

I am an artist and craftsman. I express my talent by designing and making shoes, so I am known as a shoemaker, or cobbler. My wife helps me in our little shop. I work hard to create beautiful shoes. The part of my job I find most difficult is sewing tiny stitches because my fingers are big and rather clumsy.
